Lost at Sea Opening Reception
It was finally the day to party down. The opening of Lost at Sea was finally here and I couldn't have been happier with the turn out! I met so many people I have talked with online for a long time now and saw some old friends. It was excellent!
Such as the wonderful, Jennifer Strunge of Cotton Monster fame (left)!
And Jessica Marquez
And Becky Stern again!
And I got to meet the nicest ladies from Etsy including Danielle who will be making her way out to Seattle in August for the Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs!
Here are a few pics of the people and the show as well. You can now check out all the work online and even make a purchase if you like :) Visit it all here. To those that made it out, Thank You!

Meet Our Judges
Our second judge is yours truly :) Here are my stats
please state your name and occupation: Kristen Rask owner of Schmancy and curator of Plush You! I also am the Director of PR and Marketing for Urban Craft Uprising and co-creator of Grassroots Business Association
Your favorite sport? ping pong!
Your least favorite sport? Curling?
Why do you love plush? I love plush because I love seeing how everything is translated by the designer. It's something anyone can do from children to adults, men and women. I love how each person's personalities shine through AND they are cuddly.

I just noticed this image up here for my book coming out in Dec. called Button and Stitch. It's exciting to see! This might not be the final cover but it's worth pimping out.
