Cute Dogs

The latest book I have gotten is from Vertical, Inc titled Cute Dogs: Craft your own Pooches. It's pretty amazing. The work is so so tiny but the directions look simple enough. I think this will be a great holiday gift for a special lady who loves dogs. It would be fun to have all these little guys in your craft room. The faces are so sweet I can't handle it.

The Complete Aranzi Hour

Speaking of books. I just got the new book The
Complete Aranzi Hour
from Vertical Books. As much as I really love the pattern books, this book is still very enjoyable and full of fun. Here is more of a description taken from their website:

This voluminous paperback is 256 pages of comic skits, photo adventures, puzzles, games, and more. White Rabbit and Brown Bunny set off on more cute expeditions; Bad Guy and Liar struggle as each tries to outfox the other; and Panda attempts to teach Mechani-Panda how to be cool. With an art gallery, a Q&A session, a songbook, and dance routines, Aranzi Hour is a variety show you can take anywhere.

Check it out!

Book Review

This book, isbn 978-4-579-11166-4, is awesome. I just saw it at Kinokuniya here in Seattle. I don't know if you could call them and ask them to ship it to you if you wanted it but I am pretty sure that could be arranged. This book has the cutest animals all made with gloves. It is really creative and super fun. I loved the giraffe the most but there are tons of amazing projects included. Even though it's in Japanese, the photos make it very easy to follow. This is my new favorite craft book. I am sorry I don't have more photos to share.

Mortified

The new Mortified book is out and it's fantastic. The first book cracks me up and makes me slightly uncomfortable. This new one delivers just as much and so much more...it's all about Love. I highly recommend this book! I love looking in the back to see where all these people are today. Most of them seem to be living a pretty amazing and successful life. Perhaps the pain and suffering we endure during childhood makes us cooler people in the end. I would hate seeing any kid I know going through it and know I will say "it will only make u stronger". They won't believe me, they'll think I am stupid and then 8 to 10 year's later they will say the same thing to the next generation. Thank goodness stuff like this is around.

I found Justin's blog thanks to this book. Justin, Thanks for sharing. I love your Good and Bad list.
