CONTEMPORARY EMBROIDERY REVISITS THE PAST

Redux is pleased to invite you to a group embroidery show " One Stitch Forward, One Stitch Back".

Opening Reception: April 2nd 6-10pm
Show runs: April 2nd through May 6th

 The domestic arts have a long history of resourcefulness often salvaging and reclaiming materials. The 24 artists showcased here will take needlecraft back to those roots by incorporating repurposed materials while adding a contemporary spin to the art.

This Sunday be in Portland!



I will be in Portland this weekend for Crafty Wonderland. It's a one day event full of tons of awesomeness. I will be doing a demo from 11:00 to 12:30 and then the lovely Susan Beal will be doing a demo on button hair clips! I can't wait to be there, see some old friends, meet some new folks and get some more holiday gifts! Here is the full demo schedule if you can make it.
