Halloween

I have never been very good at decorating my window at Schmancy.  I don't know what my deal is but I just can't get my head around it.  But things are changing around here and I am determined to switch things up.  I made some candy corn plush creatures for the window and want to work on more creepy crawleys soon.

Until then, let's check out the influx of Halloween plush happening over on Etsy!

Heros

I thought it would be fun to talk about your crafty heros sometimes.  I have a lot and all for different reasons.  I would have to say one of my longest crafty crushes is on Heidi Kenney.  Heidi always makes the cutest stuff, she seems constantly busy but in this nice relaxed way.  You never hear her complain and everything she seems to touch becomes this magical cute fest.  From food, to her plush, to her fabric.  Oh man.  Looking at her blog is really inspiring to me and her flickr...if not makes me feel slightly lazy.  BUT always a nice fire under my ass too!  I have heard rumors about a book coming out sometime this year too which I can't wait to get my hands on.  Anyways, she is also one of the sweetest ladies I have met and I always look forward to another meet.  Here are some of my recent favorites!

Heidi Kenney

The crazy talented Heidi Kenney is showing next month at Schmancy! I could not be more excited. I know I say that a lot about the shows at Schmancy. They are all so good. I know a lot of folks that are really excited for this show too. We got all the crafty folks and all the vinyl toy folks so it should be a really fun show! So mark you calendars for, August 8th. Meet Heidi in the flesh!

Life is

nuts lately.

If you are interested in the PY show in SF, stay tuned next week for a very important post. Finally working out some details and there are some very exciting things brewing that I would not want you to miss out on!

Sometimes I wish there was either 3 more of me or a lot more time in the day!
