Cute for kids room

My friend Maribel just had a baby and it's so exciting! The only not exciting part is that they moved far away and I can't see the little one for awhile. I already sent the baby gift but I look forward to many more. This felt aquarium would make for a super cute kids gift! All directions are there and looks like a fun project to make with kids too.

Not Plush but whatever

I am very very close to finishing my third crocheted baby blanket for my good friend Betsy. I will be going to NYC at the end of March for a visit and vowed that for once in my life I would not be late. The last two friends who had babies got their baby blankets 4 to 6 months after their babies were born. I decided that the next baby blanket I make will not be crocheted, it will be quilted. I have always wanted to take a crack at it and at least it doesn't have to be that big. I stumbled upon this beautiful baby blanket today and thought I would share because Maitreya offers these simple instructions to make your own.

Oreo- why are you so good

I don't eat Oreo's very often anymore but I have to say someone brought some in for the last art show at Schmancy and I ate one and thought it was the most delicious thing ever. You can now crochet your own oreo cookie using this simple pattern.
