To conquer the French Knot

The french knot is the most frustrating stitch in embroidery I have found to date.  I just mess it up more than it seems to work out.  Here is a video that might help me in my quest to succeed in making a french knot.  This piece here took her about 4 hours to do!  That's a lotta knotting!
