I hit the jackpot!

I have to share this with you because I just can't get over my luck yesterday at my local Goodwill bins. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with the bins. I find myself getting huge adrenaline rushes every time I get something really great but the search is rather disgusting and dirty. My skin crawls every time I see someone trying on a hat or when I accidentally grab dirty unders! GROSS!!!! AND the regulars can irritate me. I am learning more about myself as I get older and one thing I am realizing more and more is my fondness for personal space. I like it. So when strangers are moving like vultures around me to find that awesome thing it makes me want to scream. Despite all of that, I still love the occasional visit to the bins.

My friend was visiting and we used to go together so we decided to go for old time sake. We were perusing the electronics section when I stumbled upon a Gocco box. I ran over only to find a few light bulbs and ink. I decided to get it anyways because I know a few people with the machine and figured I could give them the goods. Then I went over to the junk bins and found the book and some screens. So I decided to dedicate my time to finding the machine because I figured it was around. I then found the top part which holds the bulbs and then the bottom. I had hit my ultimate goodwill bin jackpot! I got the whole kit for a mere .99 cents. My week has been made. Thanks for listening.

Great find! I can't believe the grossness of the discount crap system out west. In Mass., we don't have bins, we have the Salvation Army stores where stuff isn't quite as cheap, but the chances of finding dirty undies is nil.
