I still love books

A few months ago I was on the bus and heard a conversation about the Kindle: Amazon's 6" Wireless Reading Device (Latest Generation). The one part of the conversation which made me sad was when the man said "and it's so nice you don't have to turn pages". A part of me wanted to whip around and say REALLY??? Because turning pages is soooo hard? Are we that lazy?

I am a fan of books. The way they feel, the printed words on a piece of paper, the smell, going to a bookstore. I just can't be a fan. Here's to books, their good for more then just reading.

I'm with you on the Kindle - waste of money!!! I love to feel and smell a book from the library. Oh, and renting from the library is FREE!

There is nothing like turning the pages. I love to read and I don't think that anything other than blogging should not be on paper.

I too love books... But I'm one of those people who own a Kindle. I wouldn't bought one for myself, I got it as a birthday present... with that said... I LOVE IT!!! I still buy real books, but it's so fun & easy to read, books are cheaper too than if you were to buy them at the store. I carry it with me everywhere & read all the time.

I wish I had had it when I was traveling last time, I carried like 8 books with me in my carry-on & it weighed a ton!!
