It's Bananas

I am listening to one of my favorite albums of all time, Loaded
by the Velvet Underground. Thinking back on them and their work with manager, Andy Warhol made me start thinking about banana's and how I really want to read this book. The Philosophy of Andy Warhol : (From A to B and Back Again) Has anyone read it? I am very curious about it so let me know what you think.

So let's talk bananas.

I love this angry banana by Bittersweet Friends

This banana by Pippindesigns almost looks edible!

I like this banana by Siansburys

And this little crochet banana is cute and a great price!

To be honest, I don't like bananas. I like the word though. And I love the expression, this shit is bananas...for some reason.

Oh I have read Philo. of Andy Warhol a few times...and I could probably read it again!
I suggest it...there is some funny, strange, and brilliant stuff in there!
I think you'll enjoy it!

I've not only read it, by I own it...but I bought it way back when I was in high school and was crazy into Warhol (he was still alive back then! Remember his show on MTV--Andy Warhol's 15 Minutes? I so loved it...). Anyway, the book is odd in that Andy Warhol-NY artist sorta way. Sort of irreverent and blase and also funny with little bits of brilliance tossed in. I love the Velvet Underground too, by the way--they are still one of my all time fave groups.

I not only have read it, but I also own it! I bought it way back in high school when I was crazy into Warhol and all those "factory" era people--Edie Sedgewick, Nico, Ultra Violet...and also, back when I was in high school, Andy was still alive--that's how old I am! And he had his own show on MTV--Andy Warhol's 15 Minutes--which I loved. But about the book--I think it is worth reading. It is irreverent and blase and odd in that Warhol way, with little bits of brilliance that turn up....and I also love the Velvet UNderground, by the way--they are still one of my all time fave groups. Venus in Furs rocks.
