Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends
A few years ago my friend Barbara told me about this awesome show she stumbled upon on Cartoon Network called Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. I do not have cable. Never have. I was very curious about it because she said it looked like something I would love. It finally has come out on dvd and she was right. I love it. The characters are awesome, the stories are awesome, it's good for kids and adults alike...or adults like me. It was up for some awards so that's gotta tell you something right? The best part was to see Lauren Faust's name in the credits...she was part of Plush You a few years ago. Anyways, congrats to her. She is my new hero.

a friend at work introduced me to that show too. like you, i didn't have cable so i watched it at her house. i'm awfully picky when it comes to animation ( i especially like old eastern European stuff)but i sure do like Foster's quirky characters.
I LOVE that show!! We used to watch it all the time.
I am curious to know which plushes Lauren made. That is so cool! Are they in that little bookie you published?
My fave too! One of the best animated shows on Cartoon Network along w/ The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. You should check that out too!!!! Not just for kids.
I LOVE Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends! I even have it as my Background on the computer (the pic you have in this Blog). My kids love it too but I consider it a major source of inspiration!!!
I also love Naughty, Naughty Pets which are some cartoon shorts that come on between the shows on Cartoon Network. They were inspired by Wendy Ann Gardner's Softies and her little poems and stories that went with them. So she went from making Softies to getting them a gig on TV. She's my HERO!
