There still is room for the Plush YOu! Workshops tomorrow at The Richard Hugo House located at 1634 11th Ave in Capital Hill. The first one begins at 11:15 with the talented Blair making Wee Wonderfuls.
If you would like to participate in this class, bring $10.00 and the following items:
1/8" yd of two coordinating fabrics
felt for the face (light color)
2 colors of embroidery floss
embroidery needles
polyfill stuffing
This should be a really fun class and you will leave with your own customized Wee Wonderful.
At 2:00 the also very talented Ariana Marinelli will teach you how to make your own pet jewelry for you, not your pet. Ariana participated in last year's show and her work is unbelievable. It's just amazing.
All you will need to bring is $10.00 and the following items:
Firmly woven fabric remnants
Hand sewing needles (size 5 between are good)
Thread
Embroidery floss in basic colors (black, white, blue, brown, etc.)
Pin backs- the kind with holes so they can be sewn on!
inch black elastic
black or brown upholstery thread (heavy duty nylon thread)
Lobster clasps
Crimp beads
Both these ladies are extremely talented, very kind and you will have a blast. It's a great way to kick off the Plush YOU! excitement and bring something made by you home.
