Cricket and ...It's pretty tough to substitute wool. Cricket and I have been emailing and though she'd like to try angora, I'm not sure I've ever seen angora felt for sale. Perhaps knitting in angora in very lightweight and then hand felting it down would work - though pure angora is hard to felt in my experience.
